Cancer and financial hardship

Everyone saves for vacations. No one saves for cancer.

Paying for cancer isn’t typically at the forefront of people’s minds. The cost of cancer is a hidden side effect of the diagnosis, the forgotten element of the cancer journey. Yes, treatment is important. So is the car payment to get you to the hospital with that life-saving treatment.

According to the American Cancer Society, 1 out of 3 people will face cancer in their lifetime…1 out of 3! And of those people, it’s a safe bet that the majority of them will be hit hard financially.

Because, again, no one saves for cancer. But that doesn’t mean they have to face it alone.

Our goal

1outof3 was developed to design clean, modern branded apparel and accessories to raise awareness of not only cancer, but also the financial hardships that can sometimes come along with that diagnosis. We will be creating designs available to purchase soon. 1 out of every 3 dollars in profit will be donated to an organization called Family Reach https://familyreach.org. Family Reach is a national 501(c)(3) organization that provides financial support to families facing cancer. Our hope is that we can help many cancer patients focus on getting better and not worry about whether they can make that next car payment or provide a home for their family.
